Welcome to the home of the Johnson County Young Republicans, a group of Republicans aged 18-40 years old in Johnson County, Kansas. If you believe in limited, effective government, the power of the individual, low taxes, and a strong national defense, this is the party for you!
We meet at 7 pm on the 1st Wednesday of every month - join us at 6:30 for drinks and socializing.
The Johnson County Young Republicans have long been recognized as one of the most active and longstanding YR chapters in the state of Kansas. In 2008, the JCYRs were designated "Kansas Young Republican Club of the Year" at Kansas Days, the annual celebration of Kansas' heritage and Republican Party politics in Topeka.

As Young Republicans, we believe:
- Progress is achieved by empowering the individual over the state
- Individual liberty and personal responsibility
- Limited, effective, and efficient government
- Government that is closest to the people governs best and is most accountable to the citizenry
- Taxes should be kept low because individuals and families, not the government, are best equipped to make decisions about their earnings
- Free markets encourage economic growth, job creation, and entrepreneurial opportunities
- Respect for traditional American values, culture, and heritage that have made us the envy of nations all around the world
- A strong national defense that recognizes the United States' role as the world's leading superpower and deters conflict
- A foreign policy that strives to foster peace through strength, encourage democracy, and put enemies of America and her allies on notice
