 Eric Foss - Chairman

Eric Foss is a graduate of the University of Kansas and KU Law School with his Bachelor's in Finance, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and his Juris Doctor degree. Eric previously served as Chairman of the KU College Republicans, so JCYR chairman is a logical progression for him. Eric served as Field Director for Kevin Yoder's successful campaign for U.S. Congress in 2010 and then served on Yoder's congressional staff in Washington, D.C. as his Legislative Assistant, immersing himself in policy matters relevant to the freshman congressman's role and committee assignments. Eric just completed the bar exam in Kansas and Missouri.

 Kellen Duryea - Vice Chairman

Starting at the age of 13 when he worked for Jim Jenson’s state senate campaign in Nebraska to his years at the University of Kansas, Kellen has been very interested in politics. He was a member of the KUnited party at KU and actively participated in political campaigns in addition to helping with fundraising efforts for state and local candidates in Lawrence. Kellen lives in Overland Park and is a Manager at the Flyer Saucer Draught Emporium in Kansas City's Power and Light District.

 Anna Dulewicz - Secretary
Anna has been an active member of the Johnson County Young Republicans since 2010, volunteering in local races and the recent 2012 presidential election. A native of Poland and now a proud Polish American, Anna brings substantial international and multicultural experience to the JCYR board. After graduating from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland with her Master's degree in Tourism, Anna developed a deep interest in international politics while interning with the mayor's office in Poznan and continued to develop her career in public service while working as a volunteer with the International Trade Division of the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Anna currently lives in Overland Park and works for Zurich North America Insurance.

 Jim Thornton - Treasurer
Jim is a graduate of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Jim’s career has progressed with moves to multiple locations throughout the Midwest including Des Moines, Omaha, South Bend, and in 2008, Johnson County. Currently, Jim is a Corporate Sales Manager for MHC Kenworth. Being a Conservative has been a major part of Jim’s life since college. Jim is serving his second term as treasurer.

 Samantha Raye-Harlan - Vice Chair of Membership Samantha is a 2010 graduate of the University of Kansas with her Bachelor's degree in Marketing. After graduation, Samantha joined the campaign staff of Kevin Yoder's campaign for Congress. Samantha served one year as Chairman of JCYR in 2012 and is excited to help grow the membership of the organization in her new role. In 2012, Samantha joined Young Republicans from seven other states across the country in Tuscon, Arizona to assist with in a special election for a pivotal congressional seat. Currently, Samantha serves as Membership Director for the Kansas City Club.

 Brandon Kenig - Kansas YR National Committeeman

Brandon graduated from Creighton University in 2008 with his Bachelor's in Marketing and a co-major in Political Science. While still in college, Brandon interned on Capitol Hill for Sen. Sam Brownback in 2006, served as statewide volunteer coordinator for Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman's successful 2006 election campaign, and has since managed and consulted for several federal and state legislative campaigns. A Shawnee native, Brandon continues to be extremely active in Kansas politics and most recently served as a district staffer for U.S. Sen. Jerry Moran of Kansas. Brandon served as JCYR Chairman from 2009 to 2011 and recently worked as Manager of Media and Analytics for AMC Entertainment, Inc. Brandon currently works for MindMixer, a technology start-up that provides cities and counties with online engagement platforms, and he is also assisting with the development of a number of other entrepreneurial ventures, including an energy efficiency firm in China and a mobile web app solution.
